...finding HooDoo Gurus/Stoneage Romeos CD on eBay, bidding on it, getting outbid, then finding said CD for cheaper someplace else where I don't have to wait a week to see if they'll take my money.

I just got an email from Amazon that the DVD I ordered they can't seem to get: Bugsy Malone in NTSC. Drats.

I had originally found the HG CD on eBay, won it, paid for it. After a couple of weeks, I emailed asking Where Is It?, and the seller emailed that something had happened to it and they would refund my money. Which they did, and quite quickly. I was disappointed because I thought it was a rare CD.

Then I find it on Amazon for cheaper.

I ended up paying slightly more on ebay than I would have on Amazon because I hadn't checked the latest price -- it had dropped. (Band of Brothers DVD set.) Bah.

A couple years back amazon.uk had the Hugh Jackman Oklahoma CD for much less than it was going on ebay. I felt like telling people Go There Instead.
