Well, what does this mean?

Strange dream last night. I started a new job in a building undergoing renovation. The job was with a book publisher--I actually recognized the names of some of my new coworkers, but not their faces. I don't recall what I was hired to do, but I don't think I was writing books.

The building was in really bad shape. It seemed to be part old house, part old warehouse--a rickety elevator and lots of exposed pipes and brickwork. It reminded me a little bit of the new business incubator in Columbus OH where I passed a year and a half of my working life. The front offices were ok, but the lunch area was the converted loading dock, and it hadn't been completely converted.

ANYway, renovation, construction, and things far from completion seemed to be the themes. You could say they reflect my state of mind, on multiple levels.

I think you've pegged it. :-) You're feeling unsettled and incomplete. You feel your career is in disarray, but it could be a building phase... or maybe abandoned.

I think you need a stiff drink or six and a weekend out with friends who make you laugh. ;-)

I really could've used WFC this weekend. I am never chewing up all my vacation for personal leave again.

Amen, sistah! I'm down to almost no leave myself. Hopefully, I'll have some built up again. The week we get off in December will certainly help.
