kaygo

Ok, I switched out the square brackets for angle brackets and plugged in my username. Did I do something wrong? Everyone else got a name in color and mine came out black, which is easy to read, granted, but implies that I did something wrong.

I think your user name may be too short. My guess is that the way it works is that the letters of your name are converted into those hex codes that HTML uses to indicate color, and if there aren't enough letters, it automatically ends up as #000000 (the code for black).

I have decided that is ever so much slicker in orange (font color #FFCC00).

I gave myself a longer name, and veered into exciting brick red. Wow.

BTW, here's a list of the hex codes (http://hotwired.lycos.com/webmonkey/reference/color_codes/) for the various colors.

You've got it, woman--you were merely cutting yourself short!

Let's go for a truer kaygo color--it's .
