The bakery at one of my usual grocery stores makes pear-blueberry pie, which I brought this year as one of my contributions to this year's Thanksgiving dinner, as I think it's quite good. I don't think I've ever seen anyone else using pears in pies, which is what intrigued me enough to pick one up to try a few years ago when I first saw them.
