Talked to manager today. Through the wonders of flex time, I will be able to work it so I can attend Bouchercon in late September. I've never attended this particular con, and am looking forward to it. No clue as to whether I'll be on programming, although I will throw my name into the hat.

Because I'll be missing Wiscon this year, and a year without a Madison con is a dismal year indeed.

There's always WFC down here .... (We did BoucherCon years ago. A bonanza of books -- I got 50 freebies, because Bouchercon guests apparently like only one or two types of mysteries. Since I read most anything, I made a haul. My Mom loved it -- she's a big reader, too.
