Jun. 13th, 2011 09:01 amMy broccoli raab are only a few inches high, and are already flowering. This happens during--Ta! Da!--cooler springs, and is a sign that the plants are past saving and should be dug up and replaced. Some of them hadn't even reached 3-inch thinning height yet.
I'll save what I can. Maybe I'll transplant some of the excess basil from the pots on the deck, see if I can kill those off as well.
