Thursday afternoon
Dec. 17th, 2009 05:06 pmIt's dark already. I hate that.
Tomorrow I take Kuro to the shop for this 60K maintenance, which is $$. Fuel odor filled the cabin on our coldest day--it's an issue that is common with early 2000s Subarus, but last week's ep was the worst yet. Hoping the clamps holding the fuel lines just need tightening, and that nothing needs replacing. Otherwise, more $$.
Almost the end of week 2 of Mouse Watch '09. Trap still empty.
Overslept this morning, and just had a feeling. Yup, Gaby had visited her corner. At least the stuff looked pretty normal. Just wish I could re-regulate her so that her Time didn't fall in the middle of the night. No, I don't think feeding her earlier is an option, at least not now.
Tonight's a night for baking a coffee cake and answering Christmas cards. Then dinner--baked cod w/ mustard sauce and leftover mashed turnips&potatoes and brussels sprouts from Sunday. It's too warm to build a fire--I want to save my remaining firewood for temps below freezing--but I may turn on the holiday tunes.
