ksmith: (balance_books)
Giving Scrivener, the writing/outlining/project organization platform, yet another try. I'm doing this mostly because I want to work out an outline and Scrivener offers a format. Found a link to an e-coupon for 20% off on Michael Marshall Smith's Twitter page, and went ahead and bought it. We'll see how it goes. So many writers swear by it, but I confess that I didn't find it intuitive the first time I used it. I kept misplacing character description index cards and other types of notes. And I'm concerned about actually writing in Scrivener, wondering how well text and formatting translates into Word, which is what my publisher uses.

Appointments a'plenty tomorrow. Pups to the vet first thing in the morning. Early afternoon, a haircut for me. Need to grocery shop in between. I also want to make meatballs to go with my marinara. Meatballs stuffed with mozzarella.

Hung the autumn wreaths on the house and garage today, a few days before the official change of season. The snap is in the air, and the days are noticeably shorter. Dammit.
