Elbow meets wine glass
Jun. 11th, 2009 07:06 pmLosers: wine glass, end table, floor, membership card for local classical music station, pad of paper. Possible loser: digital camera. We will see.
The area that the contents of a single wine glass can cover can be measured in square yards.
The end table made of boards, with the paper thin gaps in between that let liquid pour right through. Bad idea. Ok, so I bought the damned things 25 years ago. Still, bad idea.
Those "green" paper towels aren't the most absorbent things in the world. So what's worse, using a few sheets of my usual Bounty with the colorful patterns that brighten my kitchen, or about twice as many sheets of the recycled green stuff?
Damn, and it was my favorite wine, too. The last glass from the bottle.
