Not as much as I would've liked because I had some off days. I need to find another time to run errands, because when I chew up the morning, it takes a couple of hours for me to settle down. Then production drops off in the evening, I think because my brain gets fed up and starts looking for other things to occupy its time. Like stupid hockey games.

Anyway, only 1172 words yesterdsy. 2475 words today. Total Crunch wordage since last Saturday: 15,490. Not quite enough. Granted, there's altogether too much set-up still going on, and set-up takes time.

Sarah Palin is in Roswell, New Mexico today.

There's a story in there somewhere...

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] larbalestier for this link. Yes, I am a Fan of Rachel (tm). She drives a pick-up truck, too (UPDATE: and it's a Ford!). And when she has a writing project due, she procrastinates by cleaning.

UPDATE#2: and she wears sneakers almost ALL THE TIME.

About 1000 words in, hit a snag. Decided to work out because butt was going numb. Realized as I was walking that the words are Not Right, as in All Wrong, and must be rewrit. A fair chunk of yesterday's output as well. But plot will chug ahead faster, and tension will be maintained. I will try to avoid looking at the word count.

Bears are winning, at least for now.

Meat loaf is almost done. Will be et with smashed taters and sprouts du Brussels.

Does anyone else out there eat seasoned croutons like a snack? I mean, they're not that much worse than chips.
