10 September 2008--I opted for the barn jacket this morning when I set out with the pups, instead of my usual windbreaker. According to the window thermometer, the temp had nudged into the 40s. 49F, maybe, and dry.

We're not finished with the warm weather--tomorrow could be the first 80+F day in a week and a half. T-storms might strike. We'll see.

I just want a few more weeks with no frost. Four, count 'em, four tomatoes are currently in process, and a few more could start any day now. I know I'll be lucky to harvest a handful's worth, but I'll take what I can get.
