We're under a Winter Storm Watch. It could all end in One Big Fizzle, as it has in the past. But just in case it gets icky, I did most of the grocery shopping yesterday. The indoor wood boxes are full, and the rack on the deck is almost full to the top.

The snow started about an hour ago. It's fine stuff, sugar-coating everything.

I was able to get to the hardware store this morning. Found a battery operated wreath, along with brick clips so that I could attach it to the stone wall over the fireplace. A new handle for the bathroom sink faucet--installed. Lunch eaten. There's a fire in the fireplace, and the pups are dozing.

Not too interested in the games on TV. Maybe I'll bake something...

...and King has to go outside. But he's become a soft nellie since he's spending his days indoors--I open the door, and he stands in the gap, feels the wind and listens to the patpat of the freezing rain, and decides that maybe his bladder is big enough after all.

Mickey, for all he seems more delicate, is different. When he has to go, he Has To Go. He simply lowers his head and trundles out into whatever mess Mother Nature throws in his path.

At least if Mickey goes outside, I know King will have to follow. He has his pride, after all.
