Winterizing
Nov. 29th, 2007 08:05 pmToday the firewood guys delivered a face cord. I burn on evenings and weekends, so that should be enough to see me through the winter. Last week, I spent a goodly portion of two mornings having Kuro worked on, but the upshot of that is that I'm facing upcoming crummy weather with a car with new battery and rear brakes.
I bought a couple of small ornaments from the local hardware store's bargain bin last weekend. A little "Merry Christmas" hanging thing. A couple of small wood wreaths with figurines, and a set of Santa salt and pepper shakers. This weekend, I'll bring up the fiber optic tree and some wreaths from the basement and decorate indoors--the weekend weather is supposed to be awful, so I will hold off on the outdoor stuff.
It's getting to be that time of year.
