Beautiful Spring day--sunny/60s. Could hit 70s later.
Yardwork! Mow lawn. Weed. Try to figure out why my Rose of Sharon has no leaf buds even though the branches are green right to the tippy tips. Let out the pups so they can bark at me whilst I work.
I'll work on the Gideon proposal tonight. But during daylight hours--OUTSIDE!!
UPDATE: And a quick Google turns up a gardening column in the Gloucester Times that mentions that RoSs can be "notoriously late" when it comes to leafing out, and many a tree was dug up for dead when all that was required was patience. They love full sun--mine gets that--and lots of water--mine's in a low spot in the yard, which makes me fear it gets too much water.
But, I guess I will just give it time.
