I am not a number!
May. 6th, 2006 09:56 pmBy way of Lee Goldberg's blog A Writer's Life comes this bit of news.
First, allow me to Gah! as I adjust to the fact that The Original Series (or should we tweak the acronym and call it The Original Prisoner?) first ran 40 years ago, and I watched it. Second, well, TNP may be good. I've never seen any of Christopher Eccleston's work that I'm aware of, but folks who saw him on Dr. Who seem to have liked him. I've heard quibbles concerning Patrick MacGoohan's acting ability, but it never bothered me. I will confess to a lifelong schwarm for the man that began with reruns of Secret Agent and only intensified during the run of The Prisoner. I just plain liked him, and that may color my attitude toward the new version. CE doesn't float my boat, judging from stills.
I might watch it if it comes over here, though, if only to see Rover again.
In other news, flippin' exhausted from a day's worth of yardwork. Was working on rewrites, and will get back to them soonest.
