Still working on today's production, even though it's officially tomorrow already. Close to a thousand words. I'd like to hit 1250 before I wrap up. I'm near the end of a scene that I really like, but that I think is in the wrong place. It needs to be earlier. As it stands, it's slowing the action and dissipating tension. But I'm going to finish writing it because I think I can use it earlier. It contains dark humor, shooter fire, and a broken finger. What else does a good action scene need, except maybe a mongoose?
