Yeah Boy Howdy.
8" or so, judging from the heaps on the deck. We'll see once I start digging out.
The phone line from the pole to the house came down. This was a very wet snow, with the strange ability to pile and remain piled along very narrow surfaces, such as the tops of fences, and deck railings, and phone lines leading from poles to houses. I looked out last night just in time to see about 3" of the stuff balanced on the entire length of the phone line and said phone line sagged to a few feet above the ground. By the time I pulled on my coat and ran outside to sweep the snow off, the line was down. Phone still works, but we need to reattach that line to the eave today, before I let loose the hounds.
It is blazing sunny. Clear blue sky, with temps in the 20s. What a difference a day makes.
