It's 44F (almost 7C) this morning, and the furnace is running for the first time. I thought at first that scheduling the PM guy's visit for yesterday was too early. Guess not.

As an aside, I love Widgets, those little programlets you get with Tiger's dashboard. My faves are the converter, which lets you convert, say, degrees F to degrees C quite readily. I also like the dictionary and the Babelfish-like translator. And the weather forecaster.

Friday, and I'm glad. Gosh, I'm sleepy.

I can say without equivocation that it will change somewhat, but I have to write the end of the book before I know how much foreshadowing to put in that chapter.

...if over the course of, say, 4 or 5 books, the term "steering mechanism" evolved into "steering mech" which in turn morphed into "steer mech", would you notice? Would you still understand the term? Would the change over time bother you?
