Friday into Saturday

Vacation day today.

I finally finished a chapter that had been dragging for a week. I don't like the last line, but it will have to act as placeholder until The Perfect Line presents itself, which I doubt it will tonight. Thirty minutes writing followed by forty minutes online is no way to work on a book, but my brain had been all over the place these past few days to the point that I'm lucky I can form paragraphs at all. From SFFNet to LJ to the news services, reading, reading, reading.

About 1/5 of The Historian left to go. Guess I'll read a little...
