Friday Friday
Oct. 1st, 2004 06:42 pmA cold front is passing through, bringing with it some rain and earlier than usual darkness. My head is pounding and my ears are popping. Me, Myself, and I, the Human Barometer.
The Move2Mac stuff came today. I have to convince myself that I really don't want to start the process today--I first have to do the tech writing homework that's due tomorrow, then clean my desk. Maybe Sunday, I'll give the conversion a go.
One thing that has me a little concerned is that the Move2Mac instructions that came with the CD are for the USB:USB/Win98 version, not my parallel:USB/preCambrian Win95. Here's hoping that the instructions are identical, and that they simply didn't bother to print any specifically for the Win95 version because there were so few made.
I did take the iMac out of the carton for a few minutes, just to look at it. Wow. I can't believe that this one-piece display is going to take the place of a tower, monitor, and three-speaker array.
I think I'll take a picture of it when I have it set up and running, and make it an avatar.
