You are Nature, The Green Mother, Gaea. You control
human nature, animals instinct, and wildlife
itself. You could invoke chaos if you chose
too... so you're damn powerful! YAY WOMEN!

In the room, which is on the 8th floor, facing the Capitol dome. A new building has gone up nearby since last year. Could be apartments.

Had a good lunch in the bar. Grilled beef on sourdough with cranberry horseradish and Brie, fries, and strawberry creme brulee for dessert. Washed down with Capital Dark beer. I'm done for the day.

The weather's great, sunny and 70s. I miss my puppies. I know that I could have Mickey in the room and people would barely notice his presence. King would, however, be another matter altogether.

I should take a walk and see if State Street has changed at all. There are usually a few new shops or restaurants to check out.

No panels until Saturday. A correction to the Whither the Female Hero panel--the original compared Jani and the other characters discussed to Gibson's Case, but the Gibson character they meant to compare them to was Cayce Pollard from PATTERN RECOGNITION. Only two of us on this panel, me and Syne Mitchell. I think we can probably find enough to talk about.

A word of warning to potential panelists--don't volunteer to be a moderator. I did and I've apparently been named the moderator for all three of my panels. Could get interesting.
