Just finished reading
ginmar's latest entry. Three laugh out loud moments, and the usual interesting stuff in between. Perspective. The contrast between what I do every day and what they all do.
I wish I could average it out, take everything they go through and spread it out over everyone here at home (pardon while I inconvenience you momentarily). If I spread out the death, the fear, the heat, the worry over a greater number of people, they will all lose their strength, dilute, dissipate. Fear becomes a momentary pause, and aches become twinges. A death of one becomes the loss of an hour for many. Seems fair.
Well...
After weeks of cold Spring, we've segued into early Summer. Thunderstorms in the evenings, and mosquitoes out in force. I can hear the grass grow, And the weeds.
Closing on the home equity LoC tomorrow. New windows are in my future, I think. I still have to remove the plastic wrap covering from my bedroom window, and other of these windows don't open or close properly. They're crank windows, and the mechanisms have just worn out. I know the feeling.
