If I don't look at the bookcases, which are double-stacked with books and have bundles of bookmarks and boxes of envelopes and other office effluvia crammed into any open space above the books, I can pretend a grown-up works here.
But then you wouldn't be a writer, either. I've always had funny stacks in bookcases. When I make it a house beautiful bookcase, it lasts maybe a couple of weeks tops.
