Busy Saturday
Tired? Maybe exhausted is more like.
Up 630ish. Breakfast, grocery shopping, home to cut the lawn. Then I went to the local day spa and had a facial, which was lovely. I told J the facialist that I had a sinus headache, and she massaged all the pressure points, and ran the steam treatment a little longer than usual. Foot massage as well, which felt wonderful.
Came back home. Made soup, a scallop-corn chowder. Verdict--ok, but I'm guessing it will taste better after a day or two. It didn't help that I tried to do too many things at once and wound up burning the bacon and having to toss about half of it. It would have helped the flavor, I'm sure.
Now the headache is back. Think I'll make tea, and try to do some work on GIDEON. I actually did do quite a bit of writing this week, but it was for some online interview stuff and a snippet thing for the SFBC flyer. So, it counts, but it doesn't.
