So I'm looking up Celtic names, and things seem pretty run-of-the-mill until I check out the Ks and see "Kiana — from Quiana; "soft, synthetic material".
I suspect someone might have been feeling a little punchy by that point in the compilation exercise. I mean, I remember Qiana--it was a Really Big Deal in the 70s, which is, I think, a little further along the language timeline than most of the names and definitions discussed.
