Who did close Woodstock, anyway.

ANYway, if you went to a US university in the late 70s/early 80s, you broke this thing wide open. Southern Rock, every which way you listened. And the Pretenders. And Clapton.

Rock Star
You scored 98%!
You damn rock star. You know all the basics, and if you got any wrong, I bet it was that stupid "You're So Vain" question.

Your friends are probably intimidated by your knowledge of classic rock and envy your impressive collection. When a classic rock song comes on the radio, you can probably identify it before the vocals kick in most of the time. You probably get good scores on the "maiden name of Clapton's mom" tests, too.

My test tracked 1 variable How you compared to other people your age and gender:

I scored the same as you. I was pretty sure that Hendrix was the last performer at Woodstock, so that's what I answered. Decided to see if I could find out for sure. I found this "all you ever wanted to know about Woodstock site"--http://www.woodstock69.com/index.htm And, yes, it was Hendrix.
(I know for sure I missed the "don't fear the reaper" question.)

Huh...I picked Hendrix, but thought it might have been Richie Havens. So, was the answer to the "You're So Vain" question Jackson Browne?

This is going to bug me now because I was sure I had all the questions right except for the one about Woodstock.

"Don't Fear The Reaper" Blue Oyster Cult. One of my favorite songs (bought it on iTunes) was BOC's Burnin' For You.

I always thought that Carly meant Mick Jagger.
But the songs listed were Jackson Browne songs, so I put Jackson for that one.

I had read somewhere that it was about Warren Beatty.

Boy, I wish that tester had posted the answers.

I wonder if they screwed up one of the questions...?

I got:

The Veteran
You scored 82%!
You've picked up the majority of the classic rock basics. You probably have a classic rock collection and can sing along with most of the songs on your local radio station. This is not the highest score, but it is arguably the best: that subtle combination of impressive knowledge and not being a pretentious geek.

And I always thought "You're So Vain" was supposed to be about James Taylor, but I knew the songs listed were Jackson Brown.
